Brother Parrott served on many committees as a member of the Alpha Chi Chapter and was the recipient of the Alpha Chi Chapter 2017 Omega Man of the Year Award.

Brother Parrott attended St. Timothy Community Church. Brother Parrott attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and Indiana University in Gary, Indiana where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sociology in 1981. Brother Parrott worked for AT&T for 33 years.

Brother Parrott is survived by his devoted wife Saundra, his daughter Angelique, his brother Marvin (Alice), his sister Sandra, his father- in- law Adolph Hicks,  sister in laws Linda Creach, Cynthia (Norman) Thomas, Tina (Dwayne) Patrick, Regina Hicks and Alisha (Billy) Fields, daughter Lakeisha Holden and sons Anthony and James (Kimberly) Holden.
